Growing up in a household where his father Frans earned a living as a black smith and his sister, who was always with the horses, Marcel couldn’t avoid, but get caught up in the world of horses. At a young age he became a qualified black smith, but with his great length, he never considered this his fulltime profession. After almost 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering, I decided to chase after my dream of a dental caregiver for horses. Educated at the N.H.B. Deurne by Dr. Chris Hannes. Since the foundation of the Dutch Association for Dental Care at Horse I'm an active member. Since January 2016 with a handful of colleagues I'm also certified by the Dutch association. I enjoy the fact that I can make countless of horses happy by giving them better teeth. Equine dentistry is a field that can use great improvement.
